We are pleased to announce that CoreStream has successfully transitioned from being certified against the ISO27001:2017 standard to the ISO27001:2022 version of the standard.

The changes help align ISO 27001 with other ISO management standards, and places greater importance on defining Information Security Management System responsibilities, communication with interested parties and holding individuals accountable for information security. The new standard also includes 11 new security controls.

Over the last three weeks we have been through an ISO27001:2022 transition audit followed by our annual ISO27001 recertification audit. Our latest audit concluded on Wednesday and we passed with no non-conformances or opportunities for improvement.

A big part of our success with the audit can be attributed to using the CoreStream Framework Compliance module, which enabled us to map our controls, assign the initial review of controls and automate our controls assessment process.
