At CoreStream GRC, we don’t just talk about making an impact; we take action. Over the years, our team has consistently demonstrated its commitment to supporting meaningful causes—whether diving headfirst (literally) into fundraising challenges, championing educational equity, or addressing the pressing realities of climate change.

Taking the leap for pancreatic cancer research

When we learned that less than 1% of UK cancer research funding is allocated to pancreatic cancer, we couldn’t stand idly by. Enter the CoreStream GRC DropOuts: a fearless team that took a 10,000ft plunge to raise over £2,000 for Pancreatic Cancer UK. With every second of the adrenaline-fueled freefall, we aimed to shine a light on an often-overlooked cause and contribute to groundbreaking research.

Our connection to this fight is deeply personal—every member of the CoreStream GRC DropOuts has been touched by cancer in some way. By choosing to support Pancreatic Cancer UK, we hope to amplify awareness and funding for a cause that deserves much more attention.

Leveling the playing field: Lifting Limits sponsorship

At CoreStream GRC, we believe in breaking barriers, not reinforcing them. That’s why we proudly sponsor Lifting Limits, a charity dedicated to challenging gender stereotypes and fostering equality in schools. From the toys children play with to the assumptions built into their curriculum, the charity is tackling gender bias head-on, ensuring future generations are free to explore their potential unencumbered by outdated norms.

By supporting Lifting Limits, we’re not just donating funds; we’re investing in a more equitable future for all.

Pedaling for progress: The London Triathlon

The CoreStream GRC team doesn’t shy away from a challenge. Whether it’s swimming 1500m, cycling 40km, or running 10km in scorching 30-degree heat, our team brought grit and determination to the London Triathlon. It wasn’t just about personal bests or finish-line selfies—it was about showing what teamwork, resilience, and purpose can achieve.

Laptops for learning: Bridging the digital divide

During the pandemic, the transition to remote schooling highlighted a glaring issue: too many children lacked access to the devices needed to continue their education. At CoreStream GRC, we saw this as an opportunity to step in. By donating over 20 devices—both new and from our retired stock—to schools in Surrey and South London, we’ve helped bridge the digital divide and ensure children have the tools they need to succeed.

Planting seeds for a greener tomorrow

Climate change isn’t a distant threat; it’s a challenge we all face today. That’s why CoreStream GRC is going green through practical, measurable actions. From operating as a paperless organization to supporting the World Land Trust’s (WLT) Plant a Tree program, we’re reducing our carbon footprint and helping restore forests in Borneo and Ecuador.

Since 2019, we’ve donated funds to plant thousands of trees, ensuring each one contributes to rebuilding habitats, supporting wildlife, and mitigating climate change.
