2026 will bring several opportunities for CoreStream GRC to share insight, join industry conversations, and connect with the wider GRC community.

Here at CoreStream GRC, we exist to empower organizations to do the right thing, every day.

That purpose shapes more than the platform we build. It also influences how we show up in the market. From customer community events and expert workshops to industry panels and digital conferences, we believe GRC knowledge should be shared, challenged, and made practical.

CoreStream GRC brings together GRC and technology experts, many with Big 4 experience, who understand governance, risk, compliance, and SaaS platforms in practice. We are here to challenge conventional thinking and deliver insight that makes a real difference. That means helping organizations solve complex problems, but also sharing knowledge in a way that empowers clients, colleagues, and the wider GRC community.

That is why we are looking forward to 2 upcoming industry conversations:

The future of GRC will not be shaped by technology alone. It will be shaped by the people leading the conversations, challenging assumptions and helping organizations make better decisions. That is why discussions like this matter.

Lucy Montague, Head of Marketing, CoreStream GRC

Who is Lucy Montague?

Lucy Montague is CoreStream GRC’s Head of Marketing. She has worked at other GRC technology vendors, is GRCP qualified, and brings a strong market view of how GRC teams, vendors, and communities are changing.

As GRC pundit, Michael Rasmussen, GRC pundit, stated:

“Lucy is among the best of the best in marketing professionals. In my 31 years of business experience, and 24 of those as an analyst covering solutions in the market, Lucy is in the top tier of marketing talent that I have interacted with. Creative, full of energy, engaging, and collaborative.”

Lucy regularly champions Women in GRC conversations and shares event insights, customer stories, and behind-the-scenes perspectives from across the industry.

Why this panel matters

The future of GRC is about far more than regulation and technology.

It is also about leadership, representation, culture, and the people shaping how organizations respond to risk.

That is not a soft issue. It is a business issue.

As highlighted by Women in GRC founder Nikki Dowdall, women currently make up only 17% of Chief Risk Officers and 14% of Chief Compliance Officers.

That gap matters because GRC depends on judgment. It depends on who is involved in decisions, whose experience is heard, and how organizations challenge blind spots before they become bigger problems.

For anyone interested in where GRC leadership is heading next, this panel is one to watch.

“Women are already shaping the future of GRC, and this panel is a chance to make that contribution more visible, share what we are learning, and encourage more people to see where they can lead.”

Who is Paul Cadwallader?

Paul Cadwallader Corestream GRC employee

Paul Cadwallader is GRC Strategy Director at CoreStream GRC, where he helps drive the strategic growth of the business and supports new and existing clients in achieving their desired outcomes using the CoreStream GRC platform.

With over 25 years of experience in governance, risk, and compliance, Paul brings deep practical knowledge of how organizations define, design, and improve their approach to governance, risk, controls, compliance, and assurance.

Before joining CoreStream GRC, Paul was a Partner at Deloitte. Today, he works with organizations to help them think clearly about what they need from GRC, how to define value, and how to build approaches that work in practice, not just on paper.

At CoreStream GRC, Paul’s focus is value-based GRC: helping enterprises connect their GRC investment to better visibility, stronger accountability, clearer evidence, and more effective decision-making.

Why Conferior matters

GRC leaders do not need more theory for theory’s sake.

They need practical insight. They need direct discussion. They need to hear what is working, what is changing, and what other leaders are doing to respond.

That is why Conferior is a strong fit for CoreStream GRC.

The platform is designed to bring together regulators, executives, and industry leaders in a digital format that supports ongoing knowledge-sharing, rather than a single one-off event.

For Paul, this creates a useful space to contribute what CoreStream GRC is seeing across customer and partner conversations: the pressure on teams to simplify GRC, prove value, improve engagement, and move from static reporting to live assurance.

The GRC market does not need more noise. It needs sharper conversations, practical insight and better ways for leaders to learn from each other

Conferior’s digital conference model gives regulators, executives and industry experts a useful space to do exactly that. We are pleased to be joining the expert speaker network and look forward to contributing to the discussions as the conference program develops from September.”

Paul Cadwallader, GRC Strategy Director, CoreStream GRC

Why are we joining these conversations?

CoreStream GRC is joining these conversations because GRC is changing, and the market needs spaces where people can talk honestly about what that change means.

Technology is part of the story. But it is not the whole story.

The bigger question is how organizations make GRC easier to use, easier to evidence, and easier to connect to real business decisions.

That takes more than software. It takes shared experience, practical discussion, and a willingness to challenge outdated ways of working.

Through #RISK Digital Global and Conferior, CoreStream GRC is contributing insight from its work with organizations across risk, compliance, audit, third-party risk, data privacy, controls, and governance.

The goal is not just to talk about GRC in theory.

It is to help teams think about what better GRC looks like in practice.

Why GRC platforms need to keep pace with business change

A GRC platform should not only reflect how your business worked on day 1. It should reflect how your business works now and into the future. Contracts change. Ownership models shift. Reporting lines move. New teams come into scope. New obligations appear. Historic records still matter, but they should not make live work harder to…
